Removal of Underground Oil Storage Tank:

If your home heating oil storage tank is buried underground, a leak could occur at anytime without your knowledge.

The integrity of the tank cannot be viewed for inspection, putting it at risk for leaks. As the tank ages, the chances of a leak increase. This type of incident can be extremely costly, and a hazard to the environment.
Many homeowners are unaware that such and occurrence may not be covered under your homeowners insurance.

One indication of a leak may be a substantial increase in oil consumption.

To avoid the possibility of such an occurrence it is prudent to have the tank removed an replaced with an above ground double wall tank stored in your basement.

**Waiting and wondering is no way to deal with a potential leak ~ removing and replacing is the best way to avoid such a risk.**
